New Things are Happening Here!

I love photography.  I love making these memories with you.  I know you think you'll remember this time, but you won't remember every detail.  I thought I would.  When I look at pictures of my family, my kids, all the little details come back to me.  Is it time for you to schedule a session?
I have been thinking of you, my client, as my busiest season is just around the corner.  I am restructuring my package options to give you more choices.  I want you to have the best experience possible with your photo session, and give you what you want with time, pricing, and service.  I'm here for you, after all.  This is the time to get in on this with me because it's a trial. New pricing and time for each session will customize it to your needs.  Do you need a senior session?  Family?  Child?  Please respond to this email to find out what new things are happening.  Now is the time during this fall season. These new changes may not last.  Make your memories now!

Nashville TN | Pictures with Santa

Santa is my favorite!

I know him!!!  Yes, that is my favorite scene.  BUT, yes, I really do know him!  The big guy will be here Dec. 2nd from 9:00-12:00.  I'm hoping we can get pictures outdoors, but I'm looking at the weather.  If not, he'll come to my house to meet your little.  I. cannot. wait.

Your little elves will get to spend about 20 minutes with Santa.  Bring your lists!  Session fee is $25, and there are some great packages that I only offer with this session.  Now booking!  Contact me for more information, and scroll down to see some of my favorites from last year!  Pay attention to Santa's keys.  He tells his children that those are the keys to his heart...this guy!

I can't believe it's time again for Fair Sessions.  These are some of my favorites because they're so happy!  If you need some color on your walls, these minis are for you.

Here are the details:  You will meet me at the fair, and have 20 minutes with me.  Yes, there are so many colors, people, and crazyiness!  It's awesome.  We act silly.  Your kids are already smiling because they're at the FAIR.  ...and it doesn't have to be kids.  It can be whomever you want! Each session is for up to 3 people.  Each extra person is $10.  You will get to see a gallery of retouched images, and you'll get to pick 10 to take home with you on a flashdrive, with unlimited printing up to 8x10.  Total cost is $250, so your regular session fee is waved.  It's also a discount on the 10 digital images.  AND you get the option to purchase any other product/digitals for 10% off regular pricing.

Contact me now, so you'll get your spot.  Since it's only going on one week, and the most beautiful time for pictures is late afternoon, the appointments are limited. Nashville Middle TN Senior | Brittney

McGavock High School Senior 2017

I was so thrilled when Brittney showed up  to get her pictures taken.  I didn't know her, but I did know that she just moved here and that she went to my alma mater, McGavock!  Of course, she had NONE of my teachers because, well, I'm old.

I would describe her as a little edgy, a little pretty, and very sweet.  I think those all those are compliments.  I'm a big believer in being your own person, which Brittney certainly is.  She definitely wasn't afraid of getting in to the water, as you can see from the creek pictures.  We won't mention the slimy bottom of the creekbed...AND we didn't see any snakes.  Definitely a plus.   I can tell she's a also a little adventurous and brave.  My kind of girl.

We actually went to Don Fox Park here in Lebanon for our session.  If you know this place, You totally need to walk back to the creek.  I bet half of us have never been there. It's so surprisingly pretty late in the day when the sun is going down.  So glad Brittney mentioned a creek for her senior session.  She makes the scenery that much better, too!  It was an awesome session.

Nashville Middle TN Family | Mitchell House

Sweet Siblings

I have been taking pictures of these three for ages, it seems (well, not AGES because they're still little).  I love watching how they're family grows and changes.  Sister has been recently added.  :)

The best thing about these photo sessions is that all three kids are always energetic and happy...to the exasperation of their parents sometimes.  I keep saying  that they'll miss the crazy life with three little ones someday.  Seriously!  I have just now started realizing it, even though people have been telling me for years.  One day I woke up and my littlest was 10.

One thing I noticed this time was that Everhett, big brother, was all of the sudden super into the pictures.  He was so helpful in trying to find good spots.  Also while the other two were laughing and...running, I would look over and he would just be sitting and smiling.  It made me laugh.  So fun to watch and remember.

The Mitchell House, where we took these, is a historic part of Lebanon.  In 1936, the home was purchased by Castle Heights Military Academy, at which time the home began fifty years as the Junior School and living quarters for boarding students. Long before that, though, the owner sold it to his children for ONE dollar!  It's funny the stuff you find online.  Anywho, now it's a great place for pictures.  You should definitely check it out.  Lots of history.

I hope to be taking pictures of this family for a long time.  These three balance even though each is different. We always have some laughs and some exercise, haha!  I love how I can always see their personalities in each picture.
