Sisters at the Fair

Now, I know that it’s cold outside and it’s January, and we're hoping for snow and all (well, some of us), but I couldn’t resist posting these summer fair pictures when I came across them again. The colors and these girls just make me happy! These two are sweet AND cute; so glad they did this with me. I love each season as it comes, and even though I’m eagerly watching the forecast for snow this week, I’m also waiting patiently for the warmer weather and definitely the longer days.

Christmas Time

Now that everyone has sent Christmas cards and spent time with family and friends, it’s safe to post these tree farm Christmas minis. We went out to Circle S Farms here in Lebanon and had a blast in the pine trees. I love meeting with these families and then getting Christmas cards with my pictures! So fun and rewarding. Until next year!

Circle S Farms is an awesome place for for taking family pictures and weddings. It’s beautiful! In the picking season, they also have strawberry patch that residents of Wilson County love.

It’s Fall Y’all

These sweet families came to the Fall sessions, along with a couple of others. so thankful for them; I’ve watched most of these kids grow up. I’m loving this fall season and the weather is just now getting cooler. Christmas minis are coming up this Saturday, too! It’s not too late.

Santa will be here Nov. 24th!

Santa: He's the real deal. NOT a helper. I have the privilege of hosting this big guy on November 24th 9:00-12:00. Location TBA. Your child will have 10 minutes with Santa. Bring the list. Session Fee is $50, with a minimum purchase of $75. The session fee of $50 books your spot. There are special packages of prints or digital files. Perfect for Christmas cards. There will be an option to purchase more at a discount. Also I have a few ideas for a different background this year…more of a farmhouse look. (Don't worry Coles Ferry people. He'll still be at the Christmas program!). I can't wait!!

I'm doing things a little different this year. I'm having my regular Christmas mini sessions, but I'm also (so excited about this) getting Santa on a separate date! Scroll down for the details...

Christmas minis this year will be on November 17th. Location TBA! Address TBA. Session costs $125, and includes 5 digital files printable up to 8x10 size. $25 books your spot. BFFs

  I was so pumped to do this BFF session at the fair.  These girls have been friends for a while, and now they are thinking of college and all that goes with it.  Seniors: Class of 2019.  I'm so glad they let me follow them around the Wilson County Fair.  I had so much fun.  They like each other so much that they didn't even look at their phones the whole time.  So sweet.  :)  Well, scroll down to see who got to hold all their stuff: purses, phones, hair bands.  So funny.  I love, love, loved doing this session for them, and I know it's hard to leave good friends for a little while after high school.  Girls, keep in touch and brave the world together.  It's so important to have besties who build each other up.

   I can't believe it's time again for Fair Sessions.  These are some of my favorites because they're so happy!  If you need some color on your walls, these minis are for you.

   Here are the details:  You will meet me at the fair, and have about 30 minutes with me.  Yes, there are so many colors, people, and craziness!  It's awesome.  We act silly.  Your kids are already smiling because they're at the FAIR.  ...and it doesn't have to be kids.  It can be your family, seniors, or best friends!   You will get to see a gallery of retouched images, and you'll get to pick 15 to take home with you on a flashdrive, with unlimited printing up to 8x10.  Total cost is $250, so your regular session fee is waved.  It's also a discount on the 15 digital images.  AND you get the option to purchase any other product/digitals for 10% off regular pricing.

Spring Mini Sessions

      For my spring mini sessions this year, just a few of us went to Cedars of Lebanon State Park and had a little fun with the bunny, Buttercup.  These guys are all related, so it was a family reunion, too!  Haha.  Love these kids.  I have been photographing all of them for a long time, and now I even have MK in class!  Such a sweetheart...And can't get over the sassy glasses.  Scroll down to see these three in action.  Look, and Houston did smile!

Cedars of Lebanon | Flory

   Oh, my stars!  These two are so cute.  Santa will have a hard time not giving them everything on their lists.  And the twirly, swirly dress Mary has on is so fun!  We had the best time taking pictures at Cedars of Lebanon with the trees and leaves.  It was the perfect backdrop.  They listened to ALL my directions and were so good.  I've watched them grow up, and I think their family is so blessed!  Scroll down to take a look at the full Christmas mini session with them.

I know him!!!  Yes, that is my favorite scene.  BUT, yes, I really do know him!  The big guy will be here Dec. 2nd from 9:00-12:00.  I'm hoping we can get pictures outdoors, but I'm looking at the weather.  If not, he'll come to my house to meet your little.  I. cannot. wait.

    It's that time again!  I feel like I just did Fall Minis.  We have so much fun on this day.  I love fall.

     These minis are discounted in every way.  I'm reserving 6 appointments on Oct. 28th in the afternoon.  I love getting that golden late-day sunshine.  Location is to be announced, so be looking for that information a little later.

            These exclusive sessions are $250 for up to three people.  Your session fee is waived, and 10 digital files are included in that.  With these files you get unlimited printing rights up to 8x10 size.  I'll spend about 20 minutes with you capturing anywhere from 20-40 images for you to choose from.

Blooming Sunflowers

   I cannot believe I've missed this for the past couple of years!  Batey Farms in Murfreesboro, tn has the most beautiful sunflowers.  I used to do mini sessions every summer until I had no field anymore.  Hallelujah, now I've found another one!  

       SO thank you to these three for coming out at the last minute, because that's how I roll apparently.  They have grown so much since the last time I photographed them at the Wilson County Fair.  I loved the way they grabbed each other's hands when I asked them to.  Sort of like they are friends as well as siblings.  You weren't pretending about that, right y'all?  haha.  I definitely know how that is with my three.  It was hot as blazes this night, but they did great.  I love when teenagers do exactly as I say without any lip.  Not quite used to it!  Seriously Jillian, Riley, and Grant, these turned out fabulous.  Thanks for helping me out with my picture-taking obsession.

         Anyone who is ever in Murfreesboro, check out Batey Farms.  Not only do they have gobs and gobs of sunflowers, they have fresh picked tomatoes, corn, jams, and even really good peach ice cream.  Lucy and I tried it.  Scroll down to see the pictures, and next year YOU come on out.
