Angelica’s Sunflowers

Meet Angelica, class of 2020. She contacted me about being one of my senior models (those pics are coming soon!), and she wanted to do these pictures in the sunflower field. Gorgeous! It was so hot this day, but she carried on, even doing some gymnastics in the flower rows. This is an amazing place for a session located in Murfreesboro. If you’re interested in doing a mini session this week (7/14), click HERE for more information. I can’t wait to show you more of Angelica during senior week in a couple of weeks! Murfeesboro, TN Sunflower Sessions

Sunflower Sessions

These are too fun!  I love my sunflower sessions.  Sinking Creek Farm in Murfreesboro has planted again this year!  You'll love this location, and it's another place that I can go to shoot.  I have decided to offer mini sessions again. They’re sort of last minute because sunflowers only last for so long. Here are the details:

Total cost is $250, so your regular session fee is waved.  It's also a discount on the 15 digital images you will receive...  AND you get the option to purchase any other product/digitals for 10% off regular pricing. You will spend 20 minutes with me and the sunflowers (don’t worry, that’s plenty of time, and it’s pretty hot right now.) Right now I have a couple of nights the week of July 14th.

Scroll for some of my favorites from last year.

Anna Kate's Senior Pictures

Let me tell you how excited I was when Anna Kate said she had a VW bus.  SOOOO cute.  Best prop ever! We took some pictures at Sinking Creek Farm in Murfreesboro first, which was also awesome.  Anna Kate loves sunflowers.  Then we went to downtown Lebanon to the to the #letlovefly mural and all around for pictures with the bus. #vwbuslove!!! She is a senior at Friendship Christian School.

I am so glad she chose me for her senior session. This girl is so brave and giving.  She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  Her mission is to help girls in Africa by providing hygiene kits and health education.  She has visited with her group, and met some of these girls who otherwise would have to miss school each month, when their school time is precious.  For more information on this ministry, click here. I am so proud of her!

Blooming Sunflowers

I cannot believe I've missed this for the past couple of years!  Batey Farms in Murfreesboro, tn has the most beautiful sunflowers.  I used to do mini sessions every summer until I had no field anymore.  Hallelujah, now I've found another one!

SO thank you to these three for coming out at the last minute, because that's how I roll apparently.  They have grown so much since the last time I photographed them at the Wilson County Fair.  I loved the way they grabbed each other's hands when I asked them to.  Sort of like they are friends as well as siblings.  You weren't pretending about that, right y'all?  haha.  I definitely know how that is with my three.  It was hot as blazes this night, but they did great.  I love when teenagers do exactly as I say without any lip.  Not quite used to it!  Seriously Jillian, Riley, and Grant, these turned out fabulous.  Thanks for helping me out with my picture-taking obsession.

Anyone who is ever in Murfreesboro, check out Batey Farms.  Not only do they have gobs and gobs of sunflowers, they have fresh picked tomatoes, corn, jams, and even really good peach ice cream.  Lucy and I tried it.  Scroll down to see the pictures, and next year YOU come on out.
